My head's spinning...and I'm officially crazy

So, I was surfing the Nanowrimo forums as usual, doing nothing in paticular when I cam across a thread on worldbuiling. 'Oh, how nice' I though, and entered it, looked around, and came out dazed, confused, frustrated, feeling insignificant and buzzing with plotbunnies. Wanna know why?

Well, someone who is a lot smarter than me actually wrote a post on how big the population has to be to survie, the economies, political factions andandandand...
It killed my brain with it's complexity. Then, I realize that my City in the Desert (aptly named D.C. after Desert City -.-) needs to be near my trading City so it could survive on imports and exports. So I gave them a big river to get goods over, but that cut off Salir (my Capital) from Skyris, andandand... So I made a new Map.

Then I realize that I didn't know how many people I have, nor how many square km Spa'ero has (yes, I renamed my Continent in the same day *shifty eyes*) and so I did some math, then I realized that my trade routes didn't work either, and then suddenly I realizes that Spa'ero if off the coast of California.

It's just invisible.

So, in an attempt to bring myself back sown to earth, I surfed a different Forum and signed up for the '10k in a weekend' challenge.

Damm, I must be sometype of closet Masochist.

Then, I wrote a small bit from the POV of one of my minor characters that shall never enter the book. It's under the emotion 'Hate' and from Lilith, a dark Elf with Sadomasochistic tendencies and who just lost her twin sister the my 2nd protagonist.

Hate, Lilith

There were black dots in her vision. Her head felt light. The room was actually starting to spin slightly, and her head was devoid of thought.
She took a deep breath. At once, the spinning stopped, the noises came rushing back, the blood on the floor -her sisters’ blood- was back, red and still warm, scattered across the room. The dark, damp dungeon where her sister was. Where her sister was dead.

The brat had long since fled, leaving the door open for the world to see through. Jane -her beloved sister- was on the floor, eyes glassy and face still fixed into a dark grin, blood splattered over her thin face. Lilith idly realized that she was on the floor, bare knees starting the itch from the stones digging into them.

Her throat was tight, and her hands -hands that would kill- were clenched tightly, elongated claws easily digging entire centimeters into her hands. She felt empty, the warmth, and presence in the back of her mind absent.

Jane's grin and blood splattered face burned itself into her mind’s eye.

Nearby, she dimly heard snickering. Alexander walked past her, almost sashaying, grinning widely as he ignored her twin and eyed to doorway. "I admit, I didn't expect that type of skill from our little prisoner." He commented as if he was talking about the weather.

Stepping over Jane's still warm corpse, he lifted her much taller form awkwardly to her feet. He shrugged. "It's a shame, I suppose, that Jane's dead...she was always so fun to tease."

Lilith was surprised on how much it hurt to hear it. Her sister was dead. Gone from the world. Murdered.

By that snotty, tortured little brat. Oh, she could imagine that annoying kid begging for his life, eyes wide and fearful as she ripped him to pieces, his brown skin stained with blood...
Her body seemed the thrum with new energy, her blood colder and faster. Alexander's chattering was unimportant. Azrael was unimportant. This war was unimportant. The other oppressed dark Elves were unimportant, and the imprisoned demons could rot in hell for all she cared.

Sebastias Venificus was going to die.

Ha.Ha.Ha.

I'm going to drink some coffee now.

The first few characters...

Howdy there =)

So, brief intro: I'm some girl from Germany who was crazy enough to sign up for Nanowrimo. Confused? Well, it's basically a contest where you try to write 50,000 words in the month of November. However, luckily I've had an idea for a novel for I don't know how long, and seeing as I have so many characters and settings and plot and whatever-the-heck, I'll be posting some character bios, information and maybe a fanfic or two on here. Including rants. So, occasionally I might post what I think about the newest manga chapters from Naruto or Bleach or something.

So, I might as well give you my Synopsis of my book, ne?

Witches, Wizards, Elves, Vampires: all shared the same fate during the mideval ages: Death. But after such a long time of prejudice, why would the stay?

Hundreds of years later, on the Island of Alacrite, new and odd cultures have risen, filled with cities of skyscrapers and more prosperous than ever. Saira Black is just one person in this world, but soon she realizes that something fishy is going on in this magical utopia.People are appearing with no identity, amnesia and horrible mutilations. Tales of Sacrifice and genocide are spreading across the only place magical beings can call home, and the ruling council itself is composed of teenagers and a six year old.

An ancient Mayan prophecy isn't helping matters either.

Mkay, so here are the first few characters and my FMC's family. Lets hope that I don't forget this...

Saira Black- She's my MC and a Student of the Shadows Academy, a school that's run by her uncle, Viperous Niagra. She, for some reason that I have yet to find out, is rather disliked across the entire continent/island, and has this creepy love/hate relationship with Alexander. She's sixteen, black haired, blue eyed and has a disturbing lack of morals and ethics. That's probably why she's such a good assassin...

Sebastias Venificus- He's a friend of Saira, 17yrs old, and has an Italien backround. He's a bit like a comic relief character, and constantly makes jokes. For some reason, he's scared of Elves. He has a brother called Dominic. He's born on August 3rd, loves to make people laugh and is actually very goos at at hand-to-hand combat. He's also going to die and was originally the romance interest of Saira, but instead he's going to die so she can go on a revenge quest. Also, he dies from torture. Awesome, ne?

Dominic Venificus- Hes Sebastias's older brother. He's the calmer of the two, very level-headed. However, this guy can also be immensly cold and methodical, the type you really dont want to piss off. He later ends up with Rhea Aquara. Later on he becomes a...'diplomat in disguise' for lack of better term, as he's sent to act as a diplomat during the Meeting of Renewed Contact.

Verena Sulphur- She's 15yrs old and has wavy blond hair. She's a very cheerful person, if a bit too bubbly. She's also incredibly naive and occasionally very insecure, though she hides it well. She loves creatures of all types, even if they try to eat her. Actually, she steals a Basilisk Egg from Azura and raises the thing untill its head is bigger than her! She's also a very understanding person and ends up being Zane's love interest.

Rhea Aquara- She short, brown haired and easily annoyed, not very cheerful. Due to the fact that her family consists of empaths and due to some reason or another fell from fame, she absolutly despises her gift. She wants to prove that you can be something without abiding to your gifts. She absolutly hates weakness of any kind.

Viperous Niagra- He's Saira's uncle, the Headmaster of the Shadows Academy. Due to the fact that the school produces the entire military of Assassins, he often has to deal with politics even though he's about as tactful as a rock. He's not subtle in the least, and thus occasionally makes major mistakes. He's also very disorganized. Nothing is more important to him than Family, as He already lost both of his sisters.

Selenea Niagra- Viperous' youngest sister, the namesake of Saira's middle name. She died at 7 yrs old due to sickness.

Crystall Niagra-Black -Saira's mother, died at her birth. She was a very nice person, kind to others. She dispisesd violence and bloodshed of any time and tried to find the good in people. Easily hurt, after her husband began his downward spiral into darkness, she fleed to her brother who gave her a small house just outside the Academy. However, she was incredibly depressed and became weaker towards the end of her pregnancy. She died at Saira's birth.

There, the first few characters. If you somehow managed to find my little corner of the internet, feel free to drop a line, kay?
